About Timaya’s disappointing outing

Talking about the list of Nigerian music stars with egos, the Igbera Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, will definitely take a comfortable position. Although, some people may not be able to stand Timaya, the acclaimed Plantain Boy got things working for him on the Nigerian music scene.
However, if the gist at SS’ disposal is anything to go by, Timaya owes his numerous fans as well as one of the DJs at the last Rhythm Unplugged an apology. SS reliably gathered that Timaya was in one of his mean moods at the well attended music concert that was held on December 23, 2011 at Ocean View, Victoria Island, Lagos. The dreadlock wearing artiste was said to have been called on stage to perform. He was alleged to have left the stage in anger calling the DJ unprintable names. However, what transpired between him and the DJ is still very sketchy. While the attitude exhibited by Timaya did not take away the fun, frills and thrills of the upwardly mobile yearly music concert, most of the crowd who were soaked in enjoyment were said to have been disappointed about the artiste’s rude behaviour.
