Gone are the days when, Trace, the popular international music channel do not reckon with Africa’s musical videos. Moreover, it may even interest you to know that in those days few Nigerian record labels, whose artistes’ musical videos debut on the playlist of Trace, do not fail to include that in their CVs.
Anyway, rest is now history, as the likes of D’banj, P-Square, Naeto C, and Solidstar are the Nigerian musical stars, whose musical videos are presently burning the music chat of Trace Africa’s top 10.
While D’banj’s Mr. Endowed remix featuring Snoop Dog is Trace Africa’s number one at the moment, P-Square is maintaining on number eight and fourth position with the videos of their hit songs, E no easy and Impossibility featuring 2Face, respectively.
Naeto C’ 10 over 10 is voted number five and Solidstar’s One-man one Vote leads from the rear, as number nine.
Although, most of these videos are quite expensive, Nigerian artistes taking five slots on Trace Africa’s Top 10 is a confirmation of Nigeria leading the rest of Africa in the making of the best musical videos.
