Copyright infringement: D’banj, Kelly Hansome settles out of court!

If the information at our disposal is anything to by then the copyright tussle between D’banj and Kelly Hansome over a song titled I’m Feeling Good, may have been settled out of the court.
We gathered that on Monday October 24, the matter was taken to the Garki Police Command Headquarters in Abuja, where it was resolved.
Kelly Hansome was said to have been taken into custody, where he was eventually granted bail to the sum of eight hundred thousand naira.  A reliable source hinted that Mr. Maga, as Kelly is fondly called, alleged to have admitted among other things to willful infringement of the intellectual property rights  of Mo'Hits Records Limited.
He consequently signed an undertaking and apology to Mo'Hits Records at about 4pm. in the presence of several police officers including Chief Superintendent Victor Erivwode, (the Divisional Police Officer).
Kelly Hansome undertook to refrain from further use of Mo'Hits Records Limited's material, released or unreleased, and offered profuse apologies to Mo'Hits Records Limited. He also appeared to be convincingly remorseful to everyone at the Station.
Mo’ Hits and Kelly Hansome’s lawyers as well as D’banj’s trusted adviser, Seun Abisagbola a.k.a Bankuli, were present at the Police Station.
It would be recalled that news broke out last week, when D’banj alleged that his song, I’m Feeling Good, was leaked in the process of recording and found its way into the hands of Kelly Hansome, who  did a‘remix’ version and released on the Internet.
