Davido’s disappointing outing at Nigerian Idol

Talking about the most popular songs of 2011, Davido’s debut hit singles, ‘Back Then’ and Dami Duro, will definitely lead the pack. Although, they were rated low in lyrics, the songs have evidently given Davido the needed name in the music scene. They could also be said to be the reason the U.S returnee gets more shows than his peers.
The young chap, who made a return to lay claim to fame in the Nigerian music industry, had a good 2011, but ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ as he’s now fondly called, had a disappointing outing at the beginning of the New Year.
Although, some blamed Davido’s floppy outing during one of the recording of the popular TV reality show, Nigerian Idol, on bad equipment, his performance was said to be below expectation. Apart from the gist that Davido couldn’t connect well with the alleged bad sound, he was also said to be conspicuously out of the groove
