Shan George’s son, Jaga Clyde, sings

Like mother like son. You can say that again, as Jaga Clyde, the United Kingdom (UK) based Nigerian rapper cum producer otherwise known as Mista Dry Gin, is taking after his actress turned singer mother, Shan George.
Although, some may not be able to place his face and name in the Nigerian music scene, it may interest you to know that the 22 years old sound engineer has been producing and mixing music professionally since the age of 16 with Play Records’ Kanebi, Ghost of Show Dem Camp, eL Flaco, and Novo among other foreign based Nigerian acts.
Apart from rocking the music console with Nigerian colleagues, Mista Dry Gin, who is the second son of Shan, has also penned lyrics and collaborated with some famous artistes from Eastern Europe, Italy and Ghana. Dry Gin’s steady growth in the game and his popularity in Dockland’s region of East London is being traced to the success of the eight mix tapes which he dropped in three years.
Dry Gin’s debut mix tape titled Chameleon was released in 2009. As his long awaited debut album is due for the music shelves soon, the gifted dude has dropped a new single titled Egba Mi. The song which Entervaganza learnt has hit the airwaves across Nigeria, is Dry Gin’s advance warning of hitting the top at one shot.
