Ara duets with 2face for Olomi Jowo

If you are one of those wondering about the whereabouts of Ara, the widely acclaimed Nigerian first female talking drummer of international repute, you can now heave a sigh of relief, as she has released a single to announce her grand return.
Of late the soul music diva and performer of note has been in the news when she was made the Ondo State Culture and Tourism Ambassador, Water Ambassador in Africa by Melody for Dialogue among Civilisations and Associations under the umbrella of UNESCO and UN.
Although, the wonder girl on the talking drum made a couple of cameo appearances in some top events held late last year and also has a couple of singles to her name, she no doubt is overdue for a debut album.
Interestingly, Ara who returned to Nigeria from the Grammy Awards on February 16 has dropped ‘Olomi Jowo’, a new single off her highly anticipated album. The new single which featured 2face Idibia is a remix version of the legendary Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi’s old classic titled Olomi Jowo.
Excited about her musical duet with 2Face, the sweet-voiced Ara told Entervaganza that she had always loved the compositions of Ebenezer Obey even as a young girl and to have had 2face on the song is a double for her.
Olomi Jowo which audio and visual will be released simultaneously on the internet, TV and radio stations worldwide was produced by three of Nigeria’s popular producers, Samkleff, Zeeno Forster and Puffy Tee, and the video was shot by ace director, DJ Tee. Entervaganza also learnt that Ara had a terrible accident while driving to the location of the video shoot, she was lucky to have survived the road mishap
