Though female rapper, Mo’Chedda, has parted ways with her record label, Knighthouse, she is however not to stay in the cold for long as she may soon be absorbed by Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
While the Rogba Arimoro led management of Knighthouse did not state the reason why they had to let Mo’ Chedda go, a nosy bird squealed that it’s not unconnected to the rumour that she is in secret talks with Banky W, the face of new Coca-Cola campaign, who is said to be looking for a female artiste that will join EME.
Knighthouse released Mo’Chedda’s Franchise Celebrity, her debut album that contained her hit songs, If You Want Me and ‘K o Ma Roll’. She also won Channel O award for Most Gifted Female Video as well as MTV Base’s New Act in 2010.
However, as Mo’Chedda searches for new label, there is strong indication that she may join Banky W’s EME that houses Wizkid and Skale soon
