Sola Rogers confesses love for female soccer

Sola Rogers is one of the very few sports presenters with Continental Broadcasting Services (CBS) owners of Radio and TV Continental. The undying love of the bubbly presenter could be traced back to his teen days, and his passion for broadcasting world was further intensified by his meeting with Channels TV’s Joke Rogers, his best friend turned wife.
Sola, the anchor of Fan Zone, the football oriented programme, has truly set the pace through his in-depth reportage on domestic and foreign soccer leagues. The ever happy football enthusiast also traced his journey to the air-waves, back to when he was at Eko FM with late DJ Mikebluemoon alongside Bola Brown and Obiwan, between 2002- 2005. While revealing his vision of setting up a music label and entertainment outfit, S.R as fondly called by friends and colleagues, mentioned his p a s - sion for female soccer. Sola further stated his plans with other sport reporters to restructure the arm of soccer in the country that has suffered series of setbacks, through developmental programmes meant to discover and harness talented female footballers.
